I was reading an excellent Sunday Times article about Steve Jobs and his recent resignation as CEO at Apple. What the article highlighted was in fact that Jobs when soaring was a pleasure to be around. When sales were flagging (in the pre-iPod/iPad/iPhone days), he was a tyrant.

A quote from the article really struck a chord with me. It is from Man and Superman by George Bernard Shaw and I think perfectly reflects the pioneers and entrepreneurs who strive for change:
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
So when you are starting your journey as an entrepreneur or following one you admire, bear this quote in mind.
I would love to hear about your experiences of working with reasonable/unreasonable people.
Which do you prefer?
