Friends of the Earth Business Card – Ironic or Clever Marketing?

I was handed a Friends of the Earth business card today. I realised it was more of promotional card highlighting the social media links on the reverse but noticed that the abbreviation of the company read: FOE. Is this just a little bit ironic (friend…foe)? or is it a subtle example of marketing designed to spark discussion? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments:
